Graupner moonraker issue, help needed.
« on: July 13, 2014, 11:48:36 pm »

Hey folks, I've commenced work on the moonraker. Put the formers in the superstructure, however when I try to fit it there is a big gap, the superstructure bottom is pretty flat and the deck is properly mated to the hull, so not sure where the issue is. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi had the same issue when i built my moonraker, if i remember corectly the problem was where the two deck sections join forming a slight bump. every thing fitted flat until the superstructure and former were glued together then like yours a big gap. had to detach former and sand it down at the front so that it is sitting at a slight angle in the superstructure. did try to reduce the bump but plastic is very thin and easy to go through.
hope this helps
