Brushless Mystery
« on: July 15, 2014, 05:22:39 am »

This is my first boat powered by brushless and I am experiencing a problem with the port side engine stopping. My set up is two Leopard 4074  1050 KV motors, two SeaKing 180 ESC's, two 11.1 LiPo's in parallel powering each motor.

The problem is if I very slowly advance the throttle at about 40%, the port motor stops and will not restart. If I rapidly advance the throttle past that spot, then idle back I now have complete control of both motors through out the speed range.

So my question is can anyone explain why this is occurring and what if anything I can do to correct the problem?
