This weekend I went to see a little bit crazy English.

He lives in France for 20 years and lets the life pass by quietly

He lives in 80 km from my home

His inn is at the edge of the Charente, in the middle of the country of the COGNAC. There is a pontoon to put models in the water and rock  three or four evenings a week.

 of course good music and  fresh beer (we are in France) and Cognac , Some real COGNAC, not an imitation

Motor homes and Campers are welcome

Admit! There is only English to invent a springer to eat on the water

Have already eaten you snails cooked as in Charente?

Snails in this area of Spain where I live are cooked with rabbit in a paella- proper rural spain style. Shellfish are frowned on in a paella here

I think the difference between French and Spanish snails is size Gazou, French snails seem to be huge while here in Spain they are tiny, the size of winkles if you were describing shellfish. They also have a penchant for eating tiny birds about the size of sparrows eaten whole- must say I have never fancied those from the tapas counter in the local bar
