Great photos Gyronuts,  isn't it a pity we haven't preserved more of our historic ships over here.

Finished my Schnellboote, so just bought one of these and going to convert to a R/C surface only runner.
Will be posting photo's of build as I go along.
Just need to get some batteries for my camera! :-) :-)

Hi
I built the Gato Revell 1/72 with R/C  a few years ago using the Dave Welch kit .
I still have somewhere if I can find it? a folder with the C/Ds which came with the Dave Welch kit together with instructions etc.   Should anyone  wish to borrow it  I can't see any infringement being done as the kit is not produced anymore in  lending you the information as long as you promise not to copy it and also to return it to me within a couple of weeks.

Regards
Ian  :-))

My favorite sub. This one has David Merriman's Sub-Driver in it. Nice part about his system is I can get to waterline after diving. As seen here:

This class of sub has a lot to hoist up out of the water.
Even as just a surface runner, it is a great looking sub. Look forward to your build!

If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
