Micro Magic radio...
« on: July 31, 2014, 05:05:40 pm »

Right chaps, spot of assistance if you please:

I bought a Graupner 'Micro Magic' 4channel, 40mhz tx/rx a while back from a gentleman on here...lovely little radio, I've just installed it in my Robbe U-47. BUT...(and there's always a 'but')...both sets of vertical sticks are on ratchets, and ideally I'd like the left hand stick on a ratchet, and the right hand stick sprung.

Is this normal for this radio? I presume it's designed for the Micro Magic yachts? Is there a chance of getting spares for the tx, I'd need the spring and the arm if possible. And if so, where do I get them from?

Cheers guys,

Rich

That looks physically very similar to the HobbyKing radios

I posted some video a while back on doing the exact conversion that you are looking for:
