hello
there are some G/A on this link. At 1/24 scale you are looking at a very small ferry.

Hi Darren,
I have a shipyard general arrangement (Ailsa shipbuilding, Troon) of MV Coruisk built 1970.(Not to be confused with the present ship of that name), at 1/2" = 1 foot or 1:24.
This shows side elevation and plan, and some wheelhouse detail. At this scale she is approx. 40 inches long and 11 wide. No hull lines, but fairly simple shape.
As built two side ramps to suit slipways, converted fairly quickly to end loading.
I guess about nine cars capacity.
Tomorrow I can try to get a photo to post to let you see if you are interested,
regards,
Clark

Thanks for the pictures
Netleyned originally the mv cromarty rose is what made me want to build a ferry but after reading her stats she was 13m length by 6m beam in 1/24 scale that's roughly 546mm-249mm so it's quite small dad said to build her slightly bigger to semi scale but I don't no u have obviously seen my puffer build I want to scratch build a boat that's not a hover craft that I can detail and with it being 1/24 scale I would have loads of parts due to the 1/24 scale cars :)

The Cromarty Rose has been replaced by a new build vessel, Cromarty Queen, a bit larger and can carry four cars, might be a good candidate for 1/24th scale.  A working turntable would be a nice feature.
