re Mayhem member VNKIWI...
« on: August 15, 2014, 09:11:50 am »

Gentlemen...I wish to publicly state that Mayhem Forum member VNKiwi is a true gentleman, and to say a huge 'Thank You' to him.

We were discussing the imitation motor for my Long Tail boat and how to build one...he offered me a motor that he had made, and not only did he send it to me (free of charge) he also sent me a tiny (as in microscopic) servo and esc as well, which will be perfect for the boat.

I offered to pay the postage...he refused to let me. So, VNK, if you won't let me pay the postage, I'll donate the amount it cost you to send  to the RNLI.

Once again...thank you ever so much, you are a true star VNK...one of Mayhem's finest!

You are one yourself Rich, I just turn up on your doorstep yesterday with my submarine module under my arm and ask why it wont work, you then lend me your plans and give me a new servo disc and tell me to go away and make one as in the plan. That's after making me a coffee...

One evening later and all working great, thank you very much, saved me a lot of head scratching and swearing  :-))

Rich,
Sorry been away all week.
It's my pleasure to help when I can, I'm no different to yourself and most others here on Mayhem.
Have had so much help with information on Mayhem, just returning a wee bit.
Happy you can use all the bits. The electronic bits I buy in bulk, can't get suppliers here in NZ.
They are what I use on my wee boats.
So looking forward to seeing the long tail finished.
All take care, be positive and stay happy
