Astute model?
« on: August 05, 2014, 12:47:42 pm »

Before we go any further, I'd just to like ask that this post doesn't turn into an all out war, insults being hurled back and forward, and generally go downhill in a verbal battle. This is just me asking a question...nothing to do with the AMS (I'm not involved with them any longer) or any other club or association, just a purely personal enquiry.

Ok...remember the model of HMS Astute that was being built by Jason somebody (I've forgotten his surname)...has it ever materialised, does anybody know?

It's not been updated since Feb 2014. About the last time I spoke to him really.

why lock the post ?  astute has a facebook page which gets snippets of updates as and when it seems the page owner feels he needs some interest , from what i can understand the two people who "won a model " are still being strung along with proposed delivery dates . from the short exchanges of conversation with the maker its clear he hasnt the first clue about the worlds of radio control modelling , either surface or sub surface !

Unsurprisingly I was told it would be ready next week, from the past feedback there's probably more chance of me winning the lottery than seeing this sub for sale next week.
