I found that the Flowers, like trawlers, sit very stern low, in other words a lot more draft aft than forward.
I built the stand so that the waterline was level and so sitting on the stand is how the model sits in the water.
But, the Flowers were obviously built on a slipway and as such the verticals; bridge, casing end are all at 90 degrees to the keel.
This means, and it becomes obvious when you look at pictures of Flowers, especially short fo'c'sle ones, that the bridge leans backwards and, despite the stern sheer, the end of the boiler casing does too.
