The weapons fit generally is lovely. Those sights are intricate and add loads of detail to the model. Are you going to build a box to carry/store her in so that the fiddly bits don't get caught in your jumper, the hedge and in the car upholstry?  <:(

Sandy

A storage/transportation box, now that's an inspired idea. I can send you a set of plans for one like mine if you want. Then I will not be the only one who gets comments like "it will never float" when you get the box out of the car !

Seriously, a box is a good idea. Models are so easily damaged sliding about in the back of the car.

It is 24th scale. Kev.

Please send plans of box, Steve.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone.

Now, does anyone know where to get 24th scale jerrycans?

Macs mouldings do your jerrycans plus some other bits you might find useful

Hannants do a German Jerry Can (No pun intended) set at 1:24 by a firm called Tasca. Out of stock at present but due back in. Might be worth a Google?

Make one out of balsa, mould and cast as many as you want/need plus a few more for future projects or to exchange for coffees at club socials:O)

I never say no to a good plan!

Hi,

Since the sun was shining I did some tidying painting:-

Running out of space for boats though:-

Even our Easter dinner has to share the table:-

And lets not talk about what 'projects' are in the loft....

Some crisp looking models you have there  O0

Is it just the camera angle or is the frigate that's atop the bookcase VERY close to the doorway ?
Hate to think of that model taking a crash dive :o ...

Regards,

Ray.

It is close, and maybe too close, but the Marine Nationale laugh in the face of such danger ...  :-)
