Tax refund scam
« on: September 01, 2014, 02:46:39 pm »

Just received a very authentic looking email notification of a tax refund from HMRC, inviting me to use a link to logon to my internet banking to 'accept' my refund. Have forwarded to phishing at HMRC.

if I'd filled in my details for all the HMRC tax refunds in the last 3 years that I've received via email.............I'd have got refunds for more tax than I have ever paid, lol {-) {-) {-) {-)

;) The only tax refund I have ever had was when I got married 45 years ago, mind you I have had plenty of little brown envelopes telling me I owed them money, if I ever did get a refund I would die of shock,Ray. ;) ;)
