Hi Mike,

Welcome to the Mayhem!

You don't have to be mad to use this forum.... well, actually you do!

What are you thinking of for your first boat?

Hello Mike

Come down to Wicksteed Park on a Thursday afternoon or a Sunday morning and see for yourself what's available, power and sail there's usually a good selection to see and perhaps have a go with ones that take your fancy. Take it from there. All the details are on the website http://wicksteedparkmbc.com we do have one or two Corby members drop by for a sail now and then, all are welcome.

Hello Mike

Sundays from about 10.00am till perhaps 4.00pm and Thursdays 12.00pm till around 4.00pm. It all depends on the weather, how many are there and how long the batteries last. Many of us go down on other days as well, it's really what takes your fancy.

We'll be at Ron Deans on the Friday and Saturday so you could meet up then.
