Help identify this boat
« on: September 08, 2014, 07:27:42 pm »

  Hi all

An elderly gentleman, unknown to me, donated the boat pictured below to our club. He asked that the boat must be sold to a member who will keep it as original as possible, and on the condition that he may have a go with it should he visit the club again.

We have not seen him since, and no one took his contact details, so I have no way of identifying the boat. I have purchased it on the conditions outlined above, and have started cleaning it up and preparing it for modern electronics.

I was hoping someone might be able to identify it from the pictures below. It is 31,5” long, and is fitted with really old-fashioned electronics and a large 12V motor, so my guess is that it is from about the late 80’s perhaps?

The three pilots configuration might help identify it. Can anyone help me identify the boat?

Cheers

Whoops, my mistake, we didn't get much Graupner stuff down here but we used to get a lot of Kyosho and I would swear that was a Jet stream, I wonder if there was some mold sharing going on?

Personally, I think the Jet stream was a 'homage' to the Arrow.... but what do I know!

Thank you very much. I did some Googling and compared both the Jetstream and Arrow to my boat, and from the pictures it looks like mine is indeed a Graupner Arrow. Thank you for identifying the boat for me!  :-))

Any guess as to how old it might be?

Cheers
