I've still not been allowed to retire gracefully, so I shall be chained to the CompShop stand - still trotting out the same old b******t and still trying to bring electronics to the masses. There truly is no peace for the wicked.  <:(

A few members of the Jersey Model Boat Club are making the trek north to see the show. All looking forward to a good display of models and a great weekend. :-))

Blimey, Jimmy - long time no see. Someone told me you'd taken up knitting instead! I'm sure you don't need inviting to come and see us.

Well gentlemen (and boating lassies) it's just over a week to go. One of the things that I'm keen on is to have boats on the pool when the doors open to the paying visitors. Therefore if you've got something you want to test and or just have a sail with then there will be 'Free Sailing' at 10.00. This will be for at least 30 minutes each day (maybe 1 hour depending on how the programme works out).
Just come and see me at poolside and book your frequency slot if your on 27 or 40 Mhz.

I still want to hear from more of you regarding 'Steve's Speciality Slot'. In case you've not exhibited before this is a session for the weird, wacky, unusual or just fantastic to take to the water. It's a fast change over session designed to deliver action and entertainment. It creates a big crowd round the pool.
If you want to know anything more just add to this thread, send me a mail or come and see me at poolside. I will be on-site all day on the set-up day (Thursday) and of course at poolside throughout the duration of the show.

Hi Steve

Once again I have something for your slot, I'm bringing along the most silliest thing the RAF ordered to be built- a boat built to be bombed! I'll bring along the info for you as we did last year, and the boat!

May I ask a favour please:  Could we please have lots of photos, plus an overall review of the show, together with detail info on exhibits that may be unusual or particularly outstanding.

I am hoping to get up there on the Saturday and may take some pictures myself.  I don't normally do the indoor shows, and reports on a recent indoor show hardly gave any real idea about it.

ian at warwick last year I believe you and rest of West Wales exhibitors slept in pizza boxes!!! I saw the rooms remember! And I never got the full story of why you got a taxi for a 300 yard walk AND the taxi driver threw you out of the car halfway through the journey!!
BUT it was a brilliant night, not had so much fun in years!!!
