You know last year we had a bit of a pyrotechnic display by our own Guy Fawkes ( Ian C ),
We thinking of doing another one this year.

Standard & Brocks fireworks ain't cheap, how do we feel about a whip-round ( roundly whipped!) to raise some money for some more bangs, whizzes and Ooooes?!

ERM what you going to do about the park's policy of NO FIREWORKS let alone all the people on there with little ones who WILL BE SCARED of the fireworks....Martin are you trying to get us BANNED form the park...THIS IS THE WAY TO DO IT MOST DEFINATLY

Apart from being thrown out, including the resident club
(Guilty by association)
one stray pyrotechnic could result in a not so little insurance claim.
If Ian's pyros are allowed on the lake as last year all well and good.
but a Barbecue with bangers of the wrong sort is a no no.

Much as i enjoyed the fireworks last year we must not upset the park, However if they can see there way to us having some fun after the general public have gone home then fair sport

There will be others camping apart from Mayhemers over the Bank Holiday
weekend.
They are entitled to a peaceful night.

I think we should be lucky the park allows the pyro display, lets not upset them. Also as Dave has said there could be families there with very young children, Dave included.
Let us stick to the beer, BBQ and setting fire to Stav's table

On a more serious note: there is nothing worse than going to a peaceful campsite only to have all peace destroyed by fireworks. That one makes my blood boil!

thats a little bit pot calling the kettle black . seeing as it was MRS STAV who asked me for some " pretty's " ( fireworks ) for the little un ! ..

and for anyone who thinks that im just an idiot who wants to blow things up . then you are mistaken . .. im actually one of the highest ranked pyrotechnicians in the uk . who does firework displays for a living on much bigger budgets than what was set out for wicksteed .

if the answer was yes then there would of been permission from the park . site visits . safety distances set out .. and also £10 million ... yes TEN MILLION pounds worth of public liability insurance in place !

and happy faces on a load of people !

but if you are hell bent on not having one . thats fine with me ... i dont want to upset anyone ! . just thought it would be a nice change and a nice ending to an amazing weekend !
