For anyone that may see it today could I ask someone to find out some information on the control module in the perkasa which I saw yesterday.

Nice bloke said it was a German made unit but I forget the name of where it came from, ( no it's not the graupner unit)

Any help would be appreciated.

Brilliant weekend what more could a model boater wish for!!

Lots of people made it possible but at the end of the day it's all down to Martin who sowed the Mayhem seeds a few years ago and the Mayhemmers, who must include Ruth and no 1 daughter who give him so much slack to indulge his whims and fancies.

Now completely knackered I'm about to pop a few pills and off to bed.

J.Beasley asked about the sound card I had in the Pekassa, it was manufactured by Beier electronics of Germany and is much more than just a sound card, includes 2x 20 amp amplifiers and  can be programmed to control servo's, switching, lights, the list is almost endless. This is not intended to be a sales pitch so contact me off forum if you need to know more.

Right. I'm chinstrapped . Another great weekend marred by good weather. As said before the gazebo flying had to be postponed by to lack of Wind. The weather was unusually warm. Great to see faces old and new. Some great boats being sailed and new boats on view especially the banana boat which won the owner a medal. Thanks to Martin and family for tea and bacon rolls. The Wicky guys for helping out and hosting mayhem. The scots for general all entertainment . To nick for being nick. I hope Maureen recovers. And I have no problems about not winning the gato!
All in all another great weekend. Remember next year is the 10th anniversary of Mayhem. Let's hope next year someone at beale park uses their loaf and does not book the same weekend as another established show.

Parking machines, there are more than one not exactly obvious granted though they are signposted, did you try asking?

I did ask . to find one with a big queue . You would have though they would have one in the main carparks. The old system of paying on the way in seems to work fine

Anne and I had a really enjoyable day yesterday – it was great to meet up with friends old and new.

Many thanks to Martin and everyone who helped out for all their hard work (not forgetting Ruth & Gina for their tea and coffee making!).
Many happy returns to Tug Cowboy and thanks for his generosity in sharing his nautical cake (a delicious masterpiece made by his mum-in-law).

A word of warning to Steph after her straight running bullseye – It's not his own toys that Phil throws out of the pram!

Having joined the huge queue on Saturday to pay I was surprised to turn up on Sunday to have to pay on the way in, it used up £10 pm my cash I'd brought for a model they had for sale.
Meant I missed out on getting it as the seller wouldn't shift on price.
This made my wife very pleased indeed, she didn't stop laughing for at least 5 minutes.

Apart from that it's been an amazing weekend and met so many new friends and caught up with old ones.
Got about 400 pictures of which I'm sure at least 30 are good enough to share but won't be home for a week so  will share them when I get back.

Already planning for next year. Mayhem is simply the best boat show there is.

Huge thanks to Martin and the team for the massive amount of effort they put in.
