Hello every modellers,
The front part of the ship takes form. The rounded off parts were obtained by warming the plastic sheet with a hairdryer. I began to ballast the ship with lead which I poured. Every block weighs approximately 200 g

Today, the upper garage !
Hello everybody, the garage is not my cup of tea. It was not easy to fix the sides to the hull and respect an 90° angle to the bridge. In the same time I 've started to build the funnels.

There is some fantastic detail work going on here. I can't wait to see more of this model as it progresses.

By the way I sail back to Spain in 10 days time aboard the Cap Finisterre. I'll try and take some photo's you never know they may come in handy for somebody.

Hello,
I've worked on davits. It was not my cup of tea, because i did not see how many details they have.  One is made in brass, because I would like to move up and down a liferaft.

Good Afternoon,
I 've decided to make 2 davits block, it was easier to paint separetely than in the same time with the hull.I used an model acrylic paint.

Good evening,
I have added a photo of my liferaft up and down mecanism. During last days, I have prepared the model to painting. I would like to paint next week-end if i get the white paint.

Hello,
Thank you for your comments. As promissed, Le Mont saint Michel has been paint this week-end. I used car paint, I don't know if next time, I would use it. It's hard to paint with an airbrush.

Hello,
After using meters and meters of adhesive tape, It was time to paint. 3 hours of masking, and 3 minutes of painting,th rates of pleasure is very low.

Hi Midori
I will try and help with my limited knowledge.
1st you have an early F14 as you have channels  1 to 7 later ones were 1 to 8. I know this from experience this may have an effect on answer 2 .
2nd in you photo it show X3 proportional inputs and X3 switched inputs ,total 6 channels . From what little knowledge I have I think you will need an encode + decoder module ,sorry more cost .
I would recommenced you repost this request in the Raido section of the forum as you might get more response.
I watch you thread as I have an interest in ferries .

Thank you for your help John,
It's hard to complete  a F14 or F16 Futaba remote control, because it is nearly impossible to find a multiswitch on internet.
So, let's back to the paint. It's finish, I will nearly order "Brittany ferries" inscription. In few day, I will follow "the sea" trial.
