Hi KLZ,
Unfortunatly it's not the graupner HOTTE system it's the older TX MC 20 40mhz.

Hi Dave,
Thought I get this TX, that i got cheap so many buttons switches , but no instruction manual.
It's well made but not sure what it can do has two modules 35mhz & 40mhz with RX's.

One of my F14 has a problem, I dropped it and broke the arial bit that srews into the plastic, managed to fix it but the ariel not working correctly, servo's chatting, when i touch the ariel everything works fine any ideas?

Colin

I've just found that I have a copy of the MC22 (3D Rotary Programming System) manual which can't be all that different. If you remind me of your E-Mail address (by PM) then I can send it to you. It's 180 pages (nearly 4Gb) so there's no chance of attaching it here. At the risk of looking like a know-all you mustn't use the 35MHz module in a boat - it's very naughty.

Ref busted tranny, try Mike here http://www.modelradioworkshop.co.uk/  I've used his services before and he's an excellent bloke.

Usually, the aerial screws into metal hidden deep inside the plastic, either through a tag to a captive nut, or a threaded bracket on the TX PCB.  It could be that it has just missed the metal (or a soldered on bracket got detached in the drop), and only gives a good signal when it is deflected a bit, like when the aerial is touched.  Or it could be that when you touch the aerial, you are suddenly the aerial.
