It was nearly two-month break, not because I have been lazy, but spring was suddenly at the door and the house, garden and the wife cried for attention.
A few of the great evenings went up in "The Provencale outdoor country kitchen" and good barbecue on the terrace.  :-))
 Holidays and quality time with family and friends takes too hard on the construction hours.  {:-{

 May is not the month to which I had devoted the  launching of Jan, but there are many more may to take of, thank God.  ok2

A vacation in New York is approaching. will stay close to Central Park and nap me if I do not visit the local model sailing club resident there.  :-)

I decided to paint the hull indside in three colors to get some contrast and something nice to look at.

Within painting I put everything in the hull and mark up the places where the parts will be glued, and covered with tape.

Princip picture which gives an indication of the arrangement of electrical parts, etc.

Port: Speed control , drain pump and contact for the drain pump.
Amidships: smoke generator and receiver.
Starboard: sound generator, pump for engine cooling and servo for the rudder.

The fastidious attention to detail and the beauty of the finish even on the inside of the hull which generally nobody sees is superb, makes me realise how far I have to go to reach that standard, if I have enough years left :((.
Thanks for sharing your work with us. Chris G

Alan....you must have some very good scale workers to keep the engine room & bilges so clean  O0

When you say "drain pump and contact for the drain pump" do you mean that this is to represent engine cooling water?....as I am sure such a build would not take on water  >>:-(....

Keep posting images ...we love them........... Derek

Large parts painted with spray can smaller parts with airbrush and brush
Thinking that the greatest work lies in weathering when the time comes.
