Hi! This time I need your help.
As some already know, I started to rebuild Jan from Robbe. but I've got a problem. I made this model before I start to drill a lot of holes.
But is this the right way to put security bars when the portholes sitting so close.
I canīt find similar solutions on the web.

Allan.

Looks right to me  :-))

I don't think that they are security bars, more likely they are there to protect the portholes from damage. If you intend to weather the vessel I would suggest one or two on the working deck would be bent.

Alan....I agree with longshanks.....in that the bars over port lights installed in the horizontal on low angled applications are more to resist of even a hauser impacting when off tension or thrashing about on release etc......... Derek

Thanks
When it's time to weathering I would fine a small tool and do a little damage.
