John Cobb and Donald Campbell.

Via Email to Mayhem...

Well one reason I wished to make contact with model boat forum is that I am very interested in John Cobb and
Donald Campbell.

I live by loch ness and I know that these two flamboyant characters were in serious competition with each other for
many years.
Donald Campbell with his K7 boat and Cobb with his K6 .
I started to research both models with a view to building a model of each to the same scale.
This would be a huge task so I decided first to find out if anybody had any models of these boats
which they would be prepared to offer for sale at a reasonable price.
If there is somebody out there I would like to hear from you.
Kind regards to all forum members.

HI Donald, I know that Speedline make a kit that looks good but I have never seen a picture of Cobb's boat, You can however see them both at the National Motor Museum in Hampshire. Cheers Mick B.
