Is it me or does that look like an awful lot of boat for £31,944 ($50,000).

The fact that it needs a new Engine & a new Rudder makes the price a bit more realistic...

not so much the engine, which will be a good few grand but the removal of cabins, deck and other such stuff to actually get it inside and into the engine room...................think I'll give that one a miss..........buy a beautiful ex lifeboat for that money with two GOOD  engines, lol

Well, even if you spent another $50,000 on necessary repairs (and I doubt you need to dismantle her to replace the engine Neil - although you might need to unbolt some furniture  %)), that would be a lot of boat for the money.  It's just that you need a lot of friends to sail her!   {-)  I guess you have to be the sort of person who appears on Grand Designs to contemplate a home like this. But what a conversation piece!

Great looking boat, but the one thing that puts me off is the construction method, Ferro Cement. Although many boats have been constructed by this method (See http://www.ferrocement.org/) and quite successfully, I would still feel safer with Wood, GRP or Steel!!
