I would love to do this one but it clashes with a Naval Reunion for HMS RAMILLIES.
Hope you get plenty of support

Unfortunately I can't exhibit this year as the date's clash with two magazine assignments I have on the Saturday in Peterborough and on Monday morning in North Wales (nearly in Stavros' back garden). However !!!!! ….. on route to Wales on Sunday morning I'm going to drive via Coalville and pop in to take photo's of all your lovely smiling faces and models (report to go in Marine Modelling International).

I look forward to seeing everyone.

Cheers
Steve Dean.

Well I hope that they pay you more than they ever paid me for doing similar jobs for them!

Hi Stavros,
I'm at the Bala Lake Railway. The ex quarry Hunslet locomotive 'Winifred' that operated at Penrhyn quarry is celebrating its 130th birthday and is being steamed for the first time since being repatriated from the USA a couple of years ago. We are going to use it on a special VIP train with music industry personality (and steam nut), Pete Waterman, performing the ceremony. I'm reporting on the event for several magazines.
Look forward to seeing you on Sunday morning in Coalville.
Steve.

I know Mobile Marine Models will be there as I am picking up some supplies from Brian on Saturday  O0

Looking forward to meeting up with the famous Stavros for the first time too!!!!

Surely, THAT would be reason enough to attend the show in itself????  {-)

There's loads of stuff I need after a winter of building, stocks of spares etc now very low and generally i always stock up at the show as its the first one we go to in the new year.
Don't see the point in making lists of stuff for traders who might not be there that's all.

I really don't see why the A Model world can't put up a list, they must know who's attending.

Not being grumpy Dave, but you know how it is, you get to a show see a few traders you didn't know were attending and you can't remember what you need. I'll contact A model World direct.

As for "the same as last year" wait till you get of a certain age when you can't remember what you did yesterday let alone last year, your time will come!
matey, mark my words.LOL

Would be nice to know in advance of who'll be there with regards to traders- got some idea of who attended last year but as Paul has said we sometimes forget- terrible I know being only 30! :embarrassed:

I would be interested to know if Modelling Timbers will be there, they were last year and they've got some excellent brass, wood, and resin fittings.

Just a couple of possible no-shows:
Metcalf Mouldings - Dave and Anne have retired. I think the business has been 'absorbed' into Models by Design.
Miskin Models - website no longer operates. I'd heard that John Gittins ceased trading last year - this seems to indicate that was correct  http://miskin.cylex-uk.co.uk/company/miskin-models-19668925.html

(Of course some of us aren't allowed to retire..........................)
