Thank you Father Xmas...
« on: December 25, 2014, 08:42:22 am »

The man in the red suit said I'd been a very good boy during the year, and I could have the present I wanted...

One problem...where do I sleep now?

I got a tiny IPod Shuffle, to play music in my 12:1 scale CBBC TV boat project.
It happens to be not just waterproof, but a full "under water" version.
Santa also appears to have little faith in my ability to keep my ships on the surface  {-)

Papa Noel brought me a load of parts to allow my anchor handler to continue. Err ok no he didn't, I got them myself from the local model shop. Santa brought me the usual pullovers and smellies, absolutely no use in boat building- I must get the wife to have a word with him!

Merry Xmas to all,
Brian

I got a lovely brand new wooden veneer deck for my 1/350 scale HMS Hood, beautiful work by the company who makes them-its paper thick but has all the buttstraps laser cut in- I couldn't have painted anything as good as it.
Got a book called 'Scapegoat' about the loss of PoW and Repulse, Doctor Who DVD and lots of Peter F Hamilton Sci-fi books. All I'm saying is a won't need to buy a novel for a little while! %)
