Dear Tubby tomo,
I've just looked at one of the films listed - this is indeed an excellent site with lovely old film. I particularly liked the one showing the steam trawlers coming back into Yarmouth. Very inspiring for the modelling don't you think?

hi polobeer yes i like to look back at old stuff as old stuff im more in to tugs thane trawlers afriend of mine as a big drifter for sale its about 4ft 6"long ill try to get some pictures :)

Worth pointing out that many of these are of Driters too. Very interesting to see the clutter on deck, and that they mostly operate wth foremast down. Going to be interesting to hear the comments at the lake when I do that.
