To whom it May Concern!!

Whilst I understand that some of us just may be of a more mature stature, I am upset that enclosed in my copy of February Model Boats magazine was a flyer for THE OLDIE.

Think yourself lucky, the free gift for subscribing to Ships Monthly is a pair of steel capped workboots - not sure what message they are trying to send there.

And yesterday I had an envelope from Age Concern with a flyer inside telling me how I could save money on my funeral expenses.  %)

I think the MB advert flyer stems from a recent Nectar survey showing that the average age of people buying the magazine is 65+ - but then I thought we all knew that.

Just goes to show that they know who you are I suppose....

There was an interesting feature on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire - 'Naked Scientists'.
They said with about 220 "Likes" on Facebook, they can statistically know you better than anyone in your family does!!!

Ooops, they have found out how long it takes some ancient modellers to climb from the bottom of Muswell Hill to the Ally Pally Show.

I subscribed to the Oldie for a while but I found it too trendy and catering to the younger set  %%
