Caldercraft Northlight drawings
« on: December 28, 2014, 03:16:04 pm »

Greetings all, I'm new here so I hope you will all (or most of you) forgive me if I resurect an old topic. I have an abandoned Northlight project. I lost the will to carry on after several failed attempts to reshape the misshapen hull. Now in retirement, I want to have another crack at it. In the meantime, the drawings have faded into invisibility. Can anyone direct me to a source of legible plans?

Hi Shellback

I am also building Northlight (very slowly!). I think Jotika are the current suppliers of the kit - they might be able to help you. Their website is www.jotika-ltd.com Do you mean the drawings in the instruction booklet or the single sheet scale plan?

Regards,

Hello Mike

Thanks for the reply. You think you're building slowly...! I knew about Jotika and I've asked them about this but I am not sure if their drawings are the same as the originals. I'm sure there are legions of Mayhemers who do. I look forward to hearing from Caldercraft's successor - and no doubt legions of Mayhemers, once the Christmas haze wears off.

I look forward to chatting online with like-minded souls, this looks like my kind of place.

Thanks again, Mike

Richard

Welcome Richard.  If you like to take slight deviation from the standard Northlight kit, many built, you could have a look at the Puffers and VICs in www.themackenzies.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/puffers and come up with a unique model.
