Gun effects?
« on: January 12, 2015, 06:00:17 pm »

in the past I have seen period warships ( men-o-war) firing or the effect of firing guns I assume this is done by a channel on transmitter?any ideas please.
I have built an ant class gun boat with a large cannon at the bow made of resin also turned one in mild steel.

No explanation as to how they do it but maybe a small piece of the jigsaw puzzle!

To rebuild the MTB488 guns should be pretty simple.
It´s probably just a servo + some LED + a mikrocontroller.
I´d have an idea how to programm it.

The second link is for sure some flash powder/paper.

What is your enquiry? Is it regarding the RC control aspect or the possible pyrotechnic aspect of the effect?
The RC aspect is obviously easier to discuss on an open forum while the pyrotechnic side, somewhat less so!
