OTW DESIGNS 1:30 NACKEN

Thought I would show everyone my recently completed OTW Nacken. She is running a custom WTC with internal piston, 2:1 large Pittman to turn the massive screw. Great turning radius and holds periscope really well.

Certainly not Portsmouths Canoe Lake, not enough crisp packets!
Are these photos at different times in the paint scheme? I notice a scum lined waterline in one photo..

The first shot in this thread is from the San Francisco casting pond at Golden Gate park. Most of the others are in Southern California.
As for the paint, I left the scum line pretty light on this one. It shows up more is some of the photos.

For those who haven't been, the casting pond is San Francisco sports the nicest launch ramp around....Also great for low angle photography.

As a witness to the running of this sub, it is sweeeet. The piston cylinder is made by a talented man, who some call "The Architect".
The finish on the Nacken and the detail work you did on this is great. It is one smooth running sub. As nice as the pictures are, it looks even better live!
