Well this one is not mine but I am building this up for Barty230 who is a member here....He bought this off Ebay a few years ago part built...very poorely I may add and left it with me to be done....Well I had totally forgotten about it till a member on here asked for a set of plans for the Vernon Trawler which I thought it was .....so I decided now or never.

First of all I had to strip the bow and stern deck off to try and get rid of the twist in the hull.........I eventually managed to get it as straight as poss by sanding down the bow to match the stern....not a 100% but workable....luckily enough the keel had been layed straight otherwise it would have been scrap.

1st pic is of the bow

2 stern veiw with a hatch cut out for access to the rudder post

3 Rudder and shaft fitted ....Red plastic prop is as supplied in the kit

4 First deck of the superstructure glued on

5 second deck

6 third deck

7 Decided that I needed to see what it sort of looked like

This is going to be a very interesting build as the plans being from the 60's are well all you get is an exploded pic and thats it no measurements just good old fashioned detective work.....obviously made harder with 60's ply but it is fun
