Midhurst Modellers Show 2015
« on: February 11, 2015, 01:17:08 pm »

Just a reminder that this event is on again, this Sunday February 15th, at The Grange Centre, Bepton Road, Midhurst. GU29 9BD.

Its an all new building into which all the many and varied modellers will have to fit!

Always worth a visit.

I have not been for a few years for various reasons - is it still a good show and is there still adjacent parking?

Yup, still a well attended show. 300 parking spaces now available as the 'old' Grange Centre is now car parking.

Hi All
What a great day out and to see all the old faces again as well as the models.

Yes, well attended, I think I got the last parking space. Enjoyed a drink and a bit of reminiscing with Tony about the old days - we are all old faces now!

Lots of boats on display plus railways, Meccano and diecast vehicles.

Colin

If you got the last parking space I got the one before you. at 1020 the carpark was full (300 spaces)! I was hoping more traders would show up especially for boat bits. Although I'm a boat modeller the railway layouts always steal the day.

I have not been for a couple of years, but always found it easier to park in the public car park at the other end of the high street. Only a few minutes walk from the Grange and always plenty of spaces.  The last time I parked at the Grange was in the only available gap, between two large vans. Just about managed to open the car door and squeeze out. I was more streamlined then though.  O0
