Mega Springer Tug 31" build sequence
« on: February 19, 2015, 02:41:23 pm »

I just came across this excellent step by step build sequence for a large springer tug on YouTube.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVgCRGyUWnc

Superb ply woodwork.  I particularly like how the wheelhouse was constructed.
A lot of good 'how to do it' tips

Thanks for that Bob.
Just amazed by the Steerable Kort/Becker Rudder set up.
No wonder it turns on a tanner.
Given me lots to think about.

Just going to take a look, but Ned, why would it need becker style rudders if it has steerable Korts?

You can spin a Springer in its own length just by fitting a Fish Tail Rudder.
