Thanks for comments.
A bit more done scramble nets started navigation lights on bridge and mast rear stays assembled to boat plus anchors.

Final photo wireless operator and 040 meet again.

I mentioned Geoff in my early posts he was on 040 on his way to the east when war was declared over.
He was very pleased to see the model.



Next photo I hope to have crew on board.

She looks right at home on the water, I particularly like the cooling water discharge it gives it that little bit extra, nice one Grayham  :-))

It is so good to see her on the water and pleased for you that Geoff was impressed. Our veterans are getting fewer and fewer, and while Geoff missed the main events he would have appreciated what went before from old salts and also what was going on on the home front. Was 040 his first vessel?

Geoff was based at Tenby ASR unit 48 during the war one of the other boats he served on was Whaleback 144.
