Ellesmere Port Model Boat Show
« on: February 24, 2015, 11:16:04 am »

Traders attending the Ellesmere Port Model Boat Show on the 7th. and 8th. March 2015 are Component Shop, SHG, Models by Design, Macs Mouldings, Scale Hobbies, Mountfleet Models, Reades Business Services, Chyldshall Model Shipyard, BP Mouldings and Model Boat Bits.  I also hope to see Starloc Adhesives there.
There will be the normal Bring and Buy sale, the dock layout, on the water sailing and the the loyal Boat Clubs who alwaysl support us.  The entry for the public is £3.50 and hopefully this year we will have 3 tugs for the youngsters to have a go with.  As well as the Museums cafe there will be a curry stall on site.
We look forward to meeting up with old friends at the show and making new ones.

Starloc will not be there, in Bulgaria sorting out the other factory after a winter of bad flooding.

Sorry to hear about your flooding Starloc, you will be sadly missed at our show.  Many thanks for the gift of adhesives that you gave me at Telford for our kids tugs.

CHYLDS HALL MODEL SHIPYARD WILL BE THERE.

We are looking forward to the first event of the season.

Anyone building a BIG tug (or even a big anything) should come and see our stand as we have a brand new product we are launching at this event.

Hope the weather is good and its not too windy. It can get a bit choppy in that canal basin.

Good modelling.

Maybe Duncan can get in touch with me again as the forum ate the personal message and now refuses to let me reply?
Or maybe I have not got the hang of the system, which is more likely.

Hi Steve, yep still got her. Sheltering with a couple of hundred black faced ewes and tarp covered in bird sharn from a million starlings. Yes that was a great couple of days being tugged up the canal.  My bosun (yellow t-shirt) will be a giant sized young man by now.
