Get Sailing
« on: February 25, 2015, 03:59:04 pm »

Just got back from the lake, having had a good three hours sailing with another fifteen members.

Wind dropped so us rag and stickies slowed to a halt.
Couple of fast boys for ten minutes until the magic bleep battery low.
Then My Springer got wet :-))
Rescued a Leander, An ORSV and an Airboat.
All battery failures >>:-(
Please check you have charged your batteries.

Ned
It must be the biggest failure cause.
It was a lovely sunny 8degs and good banter

Good job you aint' here. You'd be combatting force 10 winds, its so strong for the past few days it takes you all the time to stay on your feet! Our swimming pool cover elastic straps have given way, I bought some bungee straps yesterday and they lasted overnight, I got up this morning and they had snapped!

We had the Gale 8 up the Humber yesterday  Brian.
Today a breeze and this afternoon calm.
Those pound shop bungees are rubbish.
Should have tried the peso shop  {-) {-)
