Italeri Vosper

Has any one converted this to RC as yet? Just a little out of touch these days and was wondering what motors would be best, along the Brushless lines.

In the Model Boats magazine Kit Special, winter 2007, there is an item by Dave Abbott about converting the Italeri ELCO 80' torpedo boat PT-596 (1:35 scale) to r/c. Although Dave uses a pair of brushed motors (MFA RE385), the item is well worth reading for anyone carrying out this conversion.

You can download some MB magazines in PDF format here.  I think that you can get it as a free download so you don't need an account.

Sorry after I posted this I found that that particular issue wasn't available anymore.

Tried several downloads, only to be told not available but membership fees apply, depending on cost it may be worthwhile.
The link is to the Vosper conversion as sought.

Sorry that you couldn't get that issue.  I've been going through my downloads to see if I've got that one but no luck so far.  There is a free download option but it's quite slow and you can only get a magazine every 12 hours or so.  It's a pretty good site as long as you don't mind missing out on the free plans.
