DX6 i ratchets
« on: February 23, 2015, 06:28:15 pm »

Hi,  I wanted to have both sticks on ratchet, my right stick is currently not, am I correct in thinking this is easily changed by removing the back cover and tightening the right ratchet strap down ?

Thankyou for any help

Welcome to the forum.

Have you removed the back and had a look.  I would expect teeth to be involved here so perhaps either loosening the force on them or removing the geared strip completely, might help you

Cheers

He wants the ratchet to work on both sides Ken.
Loosening the strip will negate the ratchet.
If there is a ratchet strip on the right hand stick
It can be positioned and tightened.
If not, a ratchet arm can be obtained from the
Suppliers.

I remember something on this in the past. Some rx can be converted, as all you need to do is add the metal strip, because the teeth are already there. However with some radio sets you must order the part as an after market spare, as they are (annoyingly)not supplied as with the radio. Sorry I can't remember models discussed.
