Planet rx compatibilty..
« on: March 01, 2015, 11:47:26 am »

Any of you Planet 2.4gz aficionados tell me if I can use a Planet R6M rx with a T7 tx? I've been trying to bind the tx to the rx but it won't play ball..is it feasible or not?

I have been given to understand by my local model shop that the R7M is not compatible with the older R6M RX's.  I was interested in buying one of the new Planet T7 transmitters for its extra channels, hoping I could still use all the old RX's in my existing boats. At present I operate most with my single T5, just having to buy extra receivers for any new ships.  No, apparently, I would have to change all my RX's to R7M's.

Still, their RX's are not expensive, but would mean getting several of them, unless I carried on using the T5 TX for the ones I already have.  I may still buy the new Planet T7 and re-equip the other boats over time,

Hmm..as I suspected. Oh well, no worries...the rx's are cheap enough.

Thanks Bob K...much appreciated.
