Start of Season Show - GRMBC - 3rd May 2015
« on: March 07, 2015, 03:56:40 pm »

Hello all,

Just to let you know that Glasgow Richmond Model Boat Club will be having their Start of Season show on Sunday 3rd May, 2015.

From 1100 till 1600.

The pond is in Richmond Park, Glasgow opposite Shawfield Stadium and easily accessible from the M74 (less than a mile from junction 1A).

Bring along a boat, say 'hello' and have a sail.

All the best
Sandy

Hi Paul,

No rigmarole as it is an open sail day.

Anything is welcome (apart from IC and if steam, you will need a certificate).

27 and 40Mhz may need frequency pegs and co-ordination but 2.4Ghz is splash and go.

We may well be running some club competitions (Fast Electric, Club 500's or Wee Nips) through the day but the pond is big enough to sail around them.

The harbour should be in so plenty of docking practice.

See you there.

Sandy

I certainly hope to be there. I have put this in the diary and will have all batteries charged well before hand.

Thanks for reminding me. :-))
