« on: September 02, 2009, 12:13:07 pm »

As this is my first post on here, I'd better say Hi  :-))

Does anyone have any information on the sailing boat called the Sea-Cret. Good or bad ?

I think that the Sea-Cret is known as the Sea Queen in the UK

Hi Bugsy,

The Seacret has a website of it's own, in German, lots of info on the boat and how to improve it.
Stock its a typical light weather boat, but. with some adaptations it will cope with a lot of wind:

Here is a report on the Seacret (in Dutch) but the member in post #5 lives in France, maybe you could get in toucht with him for more info.

Post #6 shows the link to the German forum, I'm not sure if it still works.

No it's not, at least not out of the box.
But in stead of making it an IOM, which would render it much too heavy, better rigging makes it a fine sailor, with a tendency to submerge downwind.

Regards, Jan.
