Anyone used GWS receivers?
« on: July 27, 2007, 08:21:37 pm »

Hi all,

Has anyone used GWS branded micro receivers? I found one here http://ms-hobbies.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=269 and wondered if anyone has any experience of them and whether they do a 40mhz FM version.

I have used GWS receivers successfully but only for aircraft use and not the "pico" range.

The distributers in the UK are J. Perkins.  http://www.jperkinsdistribution.co.uk/

They list this micro 4 channel  ( and a 6 channel to come) but only in 35 mhz. They are specifically stated to be for indoor or parkflyers so it does not look likely that they will be produced in 40 mhz.

Hi Don,

Thanks for the link to J Perkins, I found this in 40mhz from icarus. http://www.jperkinsdistribution.co.uk/detail.php?JPNO=4461082&activepage=1&Navmain=R/C%20equipment&subcatname=Transmitters%20&%20receivers

Regards
Clive

I also found a range of raboesch bow thrusters :)

Clive

If you are looking for a small 4channel RX, I have used the "Cirrus" 4 channel rx  £14.99 from Howes Models. Its been very reliable and I am using another in my latest model.
