Thanks Ian  ,i know ive personally tried using air dams inside cowls and under the deck so when air enters the vents the air is pushed down into the bottom of the hull directly in front of the engine to feed the cool air to the motor and seems to help.First time ive seen this idea though,thanks for sharing.
