Thanks craig...radio box is held in place with aeroplane elastic bands mate,on the outside of the radio box is  2 slots which a 10 mm  bolts fits in.i bolt these through the stingers and slid the box down ,that stops the box from moving, then hold it in place with elastic band..less holes.less water and radio box can be removed in less than 1 minute :-)) please look at pics i have added .........
iv now done the stuffing tube, all in place and held there with jr weld also place carbon brace on top,,,,,,, ;)

Thank you Kurt for your excellent explanation.
It is good I think that this was clarified because the earlier initial photos may have had folks thinking that you had in fact fitted two bolts both sides through the stingers and into the sides of the box (potential leak source), etc.

However the clever way that you have done it has the best of both worlds. Easy removal, secure and not risking water leaks via the mounting method.

Cracking good stuff and thanks for sharing this with us :-))

Mart

Sorry Mart hadn't seen this.

As I understand it the idea is to provide the motor with "cleaner, cooler" air as water spray drops out of suspension as air travels through the air box and air drawn from the outside of boat should be cooler as it has not had to deal with heat from the motor and pipe.
