That's about a hundred quid for the unit and thirty quid for the recommended LiPo batteries. Not exactly the cheapest, is it? I suppose it's fine as long as you only need a run-time of 2 minutes and 15 seconds.  ok2

It seems to be designed for a somewhat different job to our ground based smoke units. It seems to be producing much more smoke than a typical, heavier, boat based unit. The higher current needed to cook off the extra smoke is no great disadvantage with shorter flight times over our longer float times. I doubt our smoke units would produce that amount of persisting smoke at wind speeds of 50 to 80 knots!

A springer tug is about as airodynamic as a house brick, so a little bit of sanding may be
Required here and there {-)

I have to say for that much money and the batterys I would want more then 2 .5 mins run time.  if you look at the spec its pulls around 22 amps that's a lot of current
