Types of Tool Bags/Totes:-Anyone Found The Ideal RC bag/box?
« on: April 14, 2015, 07:39:00 pm »

 :embarrassed:
Hello Everyone,

It's me again.I do not think I have ever posted as much,Even when I was on the many Railway Forums!over many years!!
This is yet another general Question? and it relates to ::-Types of Tool Bags/Totes:-Anyone Found The Ideal RC bag/box? I have looked at the PELI Type case (too expensive!) I have also looked at the STANLEY Open totes better value..and no end of other Cases....but before I make the final decision..I thought I would ask fellow members for their own favorites..
Must just say I am really enjoying this very much
many thanks in advance

best wishes Steve  :-)) :-)) :-))

Hi Steve
this is my works tool bag made by Facom . There is a smaller version . I am pleased with it and mine get a lot of abuse  and rough handling

Hi Steve
Facom is the only one that I know comes with a cover .
John
here is the new style and the smaller bag. Shipping might be cheaper for you as this one is in Germany

 :-)) Hi John
Yes that one is certainly cheaper on the P&P but the total cost is still £42 + 30% Import VAT as Norway is not in the EU.
I think the ideas are good and any I receive I will try and locate here in Norway mainly?unless of course it is a mega bargain.

I have just been speaking to a friend in the states and we said how difficult it is now a days for buyers & sellers as shipping costs even on very small items are generally very high indeed
don't know where it will end..I get quotes from folk that are scarey in the extrema.

all the best Steve :-)) ;) :-)) ;) :-))

Do you have access to Clas Ohlson stores over there? it's a Department store I've been to in Manchester but with it's HQ in Sweden,  now advertising their online shop on the TV. they stock lots of tools and gadgets you might find useful - well I think so...!

 :-)) Hello Grasshopper
Really good of you to reply to my request..Class Ohlson is my favorite place.. I have many things for there. It's not the shops that's a problem, I am just looking for ideas at the moment from other folk who sail RC Tugs seeing what they use or have made, its great learning curve and as I am starting from scratch it makes a lot of sense to buy or have made the best I can get for a given article..

all the best Steve :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) ;)
