Well hi team
Just in case you thought we had dissapeared for ever.....no chance, has been a little full on moving the workshop to over here (across the great big boating lake between jolly old England and the Belle France. Still all up and running, although the boats are still spread across the two countrys....and where the batteries and transmitters are....who knows, not to mention steam bits not in the same place (mainly in the boats....)
Still Steamboat apprentice and I will be there, (not arriving until eary Friday eve though)
Ready for a wekend of fun.....and probally some abuse........
Chill the beer...... :-)) :-))

It seems that the weather has been kind this year - so far. Once again I'm feeling envious of all that are able to be at Wicksteed, but 20,000 km is a bit too far for a weekend away  for me  O0 . Enjoy yourselves.

BTW, great photos Martin, keep them coming

Pop on Ebay Peter, I am sure they will have a matter transporter system for sale somewhere. You just have to train your other half to bring you back on Sunday evening without turning you inside out :((

6 work days till the main event. Tent cooker and camping sundries all checked. Tomorrow will be personal equipment  and display equipment.
Hopefully my new rucksac will arrive tomorrow  as well so that can be packed. ......then it's just the boats to do ...... now certain peeps last year said they would buy me new chest waders for this year, to replace my brown teletubby suit!

Novel deck planking on WM.
Never seen P / S planks on a deck.
Agree about the Ketch.
I would love a vessel like her.

Wavemaster looks a bit...."Night Garden"!

rule no.1, in my book. I never criticise someone else's model, unless I can do better, and I know I can't.

Ned

just seemed a little "bitchy" to me, as every one to their own thing.

midnight garden refers to a very young children's programme, [ my grand kids love it] where every thing is coloured in gaily [using the term in the old fashioned terminology] and bright colours to capture their imagination. I used to enjoy watching it sometimes myself even as an old duffer that I am.
