Professional Paint/lacquer
« on: April 21, 2015, 08:44:34 pm »

Hi All
well I have been out buying spray paint for my local car shop and Halfords . I have noticed they both have a range of Lacquer and primers that they call there Professional or Body shop range. The price is about 30% more than the regular primer/lacquer . Are they worth the extra money or is it a sales con .

Yes it it better as the primer is less viscous(thicker)....same for the laquer

You mean more viscous if it is thicker than the normal paint.

Am a relative newbie to painting/spraying but have just sprayed my glass fibre hull/styrene decked, resin superstructured Perkasa then finished off with satin laquer with the Halfords Range and the finish is superb! Was more expensive but worth it imo.Lakeside Bob.
