Aah, a model boats topic (Sorry, but getting depressed reading that endless non boating thread...)

This weekend I will be working on the transport case for my latest ship that has just been finished.
I am aiming to bring it, and the ship, to Mayhem on the Saturday.
Looking forward to meeting up with old friends and hopefully making new friends too.

Plenty of positive thoughts.

Well...after my morning dose of MBM and Paddleducks and that Americian'sh...... MEM  {:-{.......of to the Illawarra Live Steamers

Got to do the Secretriate bit this morning [without Ken Churchill's red mesh stockings thankyou]...

1. Appealing to Wollongong City Council not to cut our foliage down
2. Send out invitations to our annual Dinner
3. Other meaningless tasks...open & check all incoming correspondence...[any communication that poses too many questions ..I usually shread]

8. Have a cup of tea & read 5 year old English steam magazines........have 1 [one] beer.......enjoy the 5" gauge model stream trains..............
9. Come back home & get my afternoon dose of MBM and Paddleducks and that Americian'sh ....MEM

Plan my next move in the never ending steam paddler build :-))...

I did spend a few 1:20 scale days in the 1:20 scale forest near the western side of the Murray river & cut some 1:20 scale OZ hardwood for boiler feed......just not sure how happy Sandy will be when he hears I am converting the gas boiler to a log burner....... {-)........Derek

Dismantle, clean, and rebuild the loo in our motorhome ready for our Swedish trip next weekend, then spend the rest of the weekend in the workshop casting the fittings for the prototype Free Enterprise Ferry kit  :-))

Weekend, what's a weekend.
I don't have them any more.
One day just rolls into another, and they are all glorious.
Did notice the banks do close one day a week, but as I only use the ATM, has no significance for me.
Hi, from Paradise
 :-))

just have to get used to applying the sunscreen every morning, and getting used to the sometimes wee bit excessive, warmth.

ps
Derek, good to see progress is being made on your paddler.
What you going to build when its finished?
You have to plan ahead for these things, you know.
I'll go back to sleep now. ;)

We've just returned from 8 weeks away in our caravan, so cleaning and some maintenance is in order. It's also Mother's Day tomorrow (Sunday), so a family gathering complete with barbecue  is planned, which means I'll have to miss our regular club sailing day <:(  There probably won't be a very big roll up though, as most members will be doing similar things to me.

Same here!! Although we are having a trip out with friends later. Forty mile drive to the coast to enjoy a wonderful meal in a 2 star restaurant- and the subsequent bill {:-{ Otherwise continue building the garden wall for the rest of the weekend, start early as by 10am the sun is too hot to lay mortar, its drying on the trowel before you get it anywhere near the blockwork.

Dear GAZOU.........

1. there is nothing here in this subject that must be a PM
2. I am a member of one of your French model ship WEB groups as you know :-))
3. However, I do not know a WEB site of the French forum by the name of  " THE BLUE "

4. On this Model Boat Mayhem WEB site ....the colour BLUE is reserved for moderators for presenting comments or text

5. So from this.....when we as members on this WEB site, refer to the BLUE ...when we are referring to the moderators or the actions of moderators

I hope this explains the use in my, or our colour BLUE a little better................

This weekend is as follows, finish fitting the Skeg to the Tid then think about locating the electrics etc. Watch the World Superbikes and F1 qualifying (copious amounts of Cider involved) then dinner. Sunday is an open day at the pond "SMBC Rotten Row Southport" so the Lowgarth and Rea Towing barge will be having a day out and I will be having one of Les's famous Bacon & egg butties. Then back to the motorsport.
      Life's tough!
           Cheers all, Faz. :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))

This weekend...hmm, let me see.

Well, this morning I sold my Nissan, so there was copious amounts of paperwork to get through, and clear the stuff out of it ready for when the new one arrives ...thanks Ian (IanPAL) for helping me.
Then household chores, and change the bed sheets ready for the good lady's arrival later on.  ;D

Finish tidying up and then decide what to cook for dinner tonight. Or shall I take her out to dinner.... 8)  hmm.

Tomorrow...depending on what time the good lady has to go home will affect what I do. I'd like to get the lead keel ballast fitted into X9 and the velcro straps that will secure the module installed. And there's some drag racing to catch up on.

I'll cope...just.

Have a good weekend boys n' girls...

No problem Rich, well he wasn't as scary as I thought he would be.
We only managed to touch mirrors with one car, A nice new BMW, the guy didn't stop so I just told him to keep going  %)

He's over the moon with the car mate.
I have a funny feeling the rest of my weekend will be out driving with the son in Rich's old Nissan.
