What amazes me is , there's no grip marks on the ally !
Definitely doable, the working out of depths etc would be a pain. . . I'm not a fan of the side grip on two jaws on the three jaw chuck & the workpiece can slip out very easily  <:(

Good piece of work tho'. .

I wouldn't ever trust a piece held in the three jaw chuck as he did turning the cube. I've had my share of near misses doing stupid things like that :embarrassed:

Its a brilliant piece of work, one I would never have thought possible, although I have seen it done with 3d printing.
