64370 motor question

Can anyone tell me if a 64370 motor (believed to be by Johnson) is 3 pole or 5 pole please ??

They are 3 pole motors, OK up to 6 volts but above that real ESC killers as they will draw horrendous current. There is a thread on here about them.

I have two of them in my lifeboat,and they do kill the esc.At Wicksteed pk last year a lot of people could not believe there eyes,when I put the boat on fwd motion you could see the bottom of the props,it lifted a 47" boat and hydroplane for about 10' then esc cut out.good fun but the motors are something else

These horrors are now removed, im putting same as in my Oakley in, Mabuchi 555, i like them.

That is really interesting and has answered a lot of my problems. I bought 2 of these motors sometime ago one is in a Huntsman and the other I was waiting a use for, the ESC in the Huntsman did some funny things but I never imagined it was the fault of the motor.
They can go back on that well known auction site or alternatively the wheelie bin, who knows {-)
